The Humane Society of Olney has been a non-profit organization since 1960.
We need good, loving homes in Richland County for our animals, which often times have been unwanted, abused and neglected.
Our animals are not on a time limit, so our facility is always full. While here, our animals are not stuck in a cage but spend their time in a home environment.
We are a "low kill" humane society. Sadly, some come in too late to save with heart worms, injuries from being hit by cars, or diseases like parvo or leukemia and deserve a quiet, humane death.
Pets may be seen after making an appointment. Call 618-392-2699. We are closed on weekends.
How to help us
Help support us by: adopting or fostering an animal, donating food, litter, blankets, rugs or towels or donating money for medicine, vaccinations, flea control and spaying and neutering.
